During the mid to late 1800s, waltzes were an extremely popular form of musical entertainment. Composers such as Brahms and Strauss were known as the “waltz kings” for their contributions to the genre. This workshop will explore “The Gypsy Baron” “Carnival of Venice” and other period waltzes as time allows. Audio tracks will be provided, and a video made available to those who cannot attend the class at the scheduled time.
