This tuning allows a standard dulcimer fretboard to access notes that are not available in other tunings such as DAD or DGD. It also provides some fuller, more contemporary sounding chords. We will explore “Aura Lee” “It Came Upon the Midnight Clear” and “Sweet By and By,” resulting in some interesting arrangements. Audio practice tracks will be provided, and a video made available to those who cannot attend the class at the scheduled time.
