I love teaching arrangements classes, but there is often one aspect that I wish I had more time to develop: writing tunes from scratch. In this 2-hour masterclass, we’ll solely focus on tips and techniques to write your own original music for hammered dulcimer, with many practical examples that you can apply straight away. I’ll share some insight on common topics: creating efficient melodies, assembling them together, making transition parts and writing basic harmonies.
