A repertoire workshop of beautiful Scottish Laments. They are often played on bagpipes, especially in the Highlands, for funerals or as commemoration of some great loss. The fingering is not terribly difficult, but we will be focusing on capturing the haunting mood of these songs on the mountain dulcimer. This set includes “Flowers o' the Forest," "Scottish Boatman,” and others.
