I have chosen some of my favorite English ballads. We will explore singing them with backup chords as well as playing the melody of each composition. Selections include “Rosemary Lane,” “The Blacksmith,” “The Death of Queen Jane,” “Bushes and Briars,” “I Live Not Where I Love,” and “Spotted Cow,” all in D-A-D, as well as “Three Jolly Rogues of Lynn” in D-G-D. A basic knowledge of embellishments is required for this class. No video provided.
