This advanced beginner class features some of my favorite simple, tunes—most played on a single string, so you can really enjoy the melody without getting bogged down in technique. We’ll add a few easy parallel chords along the way. Selections include “Asika Thali,” “The Sailors Alphabet,” “The Breton Tune,” “Scarborough Fair,” “Fly Around My Pretty Little Miss,” “McPherson’s Farewell,” and “Angelina the Baker.” A capo is required for this workshop.
