Baroque Music (composed between 1600 and 1750) is a wonderful genre for the mountain dulcimer. In this workshop, we will explore “Allemande” and “Minuet 70” by Johannes de Gruytters; “Minuet in G Major” (Petzold); “Musette in D” (Bach); “Rigadoon” (Henry Purcell); “Neal’s Maggot”; and “Canarios” (Gaspar Sanz). To enjoy this workshop, students should be proficient in the three basic embellishments: hammer-ons, pull-offs, and slides. *No Video Provided
