Henry Reed (1884-1968) was an Appalachian fiddler from Monroe County, WV and Glen Lyn, VA. He was made famous when his tunes were recorded and housed at the Library of Congress. Get your fingers set for hammers, pulls, and slides as we learn “Dinah,” “Kitchen Girl,” “Billy in the Low Land,” and “Folding Down the Sheets.” We’ll play in keys of D, G, and A so bring a capo and maybe be ready to retune.
