The bodhrán is a frame drum played with one stick that is used to accompany traditional Irish tunes. This class is for complete beginners, so no experience required! We will cover basic grip, motion, technique, and accompaniment patterns for common Irish tunes. A bodhrán and tipper is recommended for this class, but you can also learn the basics with an empty pizza box and a 6-7” wooden dowel!
