Come join the joyful throng in song: come to the fair… Our selections for this class will include the English and Appalachian melodies “Widecombe Fair,” “Nottamun Town,” and a lesser known variant of “Scarborough Fair” from Whitby in North Yorkshire, England (different from the melody Simon and Garfunkel performed). We will engage with three-finger and parallel chording and unique rhythms. Please bring a capo! This workshop is not recorded.
